New Emotion Perpetual Calendar Bi-retrograde or Academia Quantieme Perpetuel uses the DW 7001 caliber with mechanical and manual winding movement. It uses a 22k yellow gold micro-rotor with 28,800 vph. Its case comes in red gold and white gold. Both encompass the "New Emotion" or "Academia" styled case where the bezel and middle portion has the "Imperial Column" engraving. It uses sapphire crystal for the case and the caseback is transparent with sapphire crystal revealing the movement within. Its water resistance is up to 30 meters. The dial uses guilloche pattern in the center portion and engine-turned sun pattern for the two retrograde indications. For the red gold case, the dial has red and white gold, while the white gold case has chocolate colored and white gold dial. Its central hands are shaped like a sword which is a De Witt exclusive style. There are Arabic numerals used for the hour indication. There are the retrograde date located at 3, moonphase display at 6, retrograde day at 9, and the month and year positioned at 12. It has a black alligator strap and a matching metal folding clasp.
