Bachelor Party Planning Ideas

Author: Gail Leino

We all know what the traditional bachelor party entails, drinking, gambling, female dancers and dirty jokes. If you want to throw a party with all of these elements it will probably be successful with lots of memorable photographs the groom has to pay for to get the negatives and his buddies silence.

There are many themes you can incorporate into your bachelor party. The most popular being a Mardi Gras or Las Vegas party and nothing says you have to be in New Orleans or Las Vegas to have these parties.

A Mardi Gras Party can be coed. Treat the bride and groom as King and Queen of the party. They can wear hats, sit in a pair of regal chairs and dispense party favors as they wish. Load up the guests, male and female, with beads and they change exchange them with each other for dances or kisses. Then you can put together a little parade around the house that either carries the bride and groom along with it or passes in front of them for their royal viewing pleasure.

The Las Vegas style party can have casino style lights and decoration. Set up a card table and play dealer for the evening. The games can be Poker, Twenty One, etc. Play with real cash and anything the house wins can be proceeds to help out the groom and his bride to be. Or you can hire a sexy lady to be the dealer for the evening. It will be more than distracting and the guests will end up giving quite a bit of money to the groom.

There are lots of other party themes that can be modified for a Bachelor's party. If the groom is into sports try a NASCAR party at the racetrack. Or if he likes Golf play a little joke on him and take him to the kiddies putt-putt course.
