Internet Becomes Chinese Favored Advertising Media

Author: Klver Guo

China's income from advertisement industry reached 120 billion yuan (14.8 billion US dollars) last year, according to the organizing committee for the country's first national media ads trade fair. The committee said that ads published and released on the Internet, TV, as well as those on mobile phones are favored most by the market and ads agencies. With the fast growth of the Chinese economy, the number of ads published by media organizations is on the rise in the country. However, media and ads corporations in different regions face difficulties in exploring markets in other regions due to trade barriers and fierce competition. The trade fair, which kicked off on Wednesday in Beijing, aims to help bridge the media organizations and ads corporations in this regard. Nearly 300 media organizations and thousands of ads agencies and ads management units attended the three-day event, the organizing committee said.
