Do Christians Have Too Big A Slice Of Pie?

Author: Jason Parker

Christians obviously make up the majority of people in the U.S. Because of this, our laws are being affected by Christian morals. Should a Christian moral determine our laws just because its a Christian moral--and not universal? H.E. double-hockey sticks no!

Think about it, everything is being run by Christian-Republicans who are trying to pass laws based on the Bible. We cant scientifically determine whether abortion is murder, yet those who believe--to them know--that it is, get to call the shots.

Im probably going to get scolded for this one. Yeah but I am very hurt and even somewhat angry about the forcefulness of our nation. More rights are unjustly being taken away.

When you bring abortion into a church and say it is bad, thats fine with me. Go warship doughnuts for all I care. Believe what you want. However, when you force your religious morals on the general public, that is wrong.

Everyone should have the freedom to do what he or she wants, regardless of religious views. Civil Unions should grant as equal rights as marriage. People should be able to smoke marijuana. Abortion should be kept as pro-choice.

Im not against Christians by any means. Im just saying Im upset at the religious force in this nation and the taking away of rights. And I will rebel until a conspiracy happens, and Im shot 22 times by a secret agent.

You cant tell people what to do based on religion.
