When Hostile Forces Unite

Author: Lance Winslow

It is often said that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. But that may not be entirely so. It does stand to reason from a Machiavellian Play Book standpoint however that if you have a common cause or a common enemy then in fact you do have some common ground.

Now then do our common enemies have common ground against us? Well? We know that we have enemies, declared who have supported International Terrorism against our allies. We also know that when hostile forces unite they increase their synergies and combine forces have a multiplier effect, which makes them a more viable threat.

Currently in the world arena of viable threats against our allies and the free world we see some diehard hold outs with some pretty radical views. Views that any sane person could not hold with proper perspective based reasoning.

For instance we have Irans President declaring that he wants to blow Israel off the map. We have Hamas, a terrorist organization in Palestine, which has candidates amongst the top vote getters in their recent elections. Candidates, who are in prison for killing and murdering. Candidates who have planned successful suicide bombings in Israel. And one of which who is in prison under a 5-lifetime sentence.

These are not good people and when such hostile forces unite, action must be taken, not negotiation. Any leader who fails to protect his nation from such growing threats, does so at the future expense of his people. Remember that and consider this in 2006.
